You came to the right place!! I am pre op so can't help you there,

but there are several members here who are surgery vets and they can

help you with their experiences. And if you look through a few days

or weeks of posts here, you will get a general idea of some of the

experiences and questions others have too. You will find soooooooooo

much info to help you through this! Welcome to the board!

Hi

I just posted my experience earlier today and you can go ahead and read

it if you like. I am 3 weeks and 3 days post op. I too live in

Canada...Newfoundland and Labrador.

I had lower jaw surgery and it was not that bad to be completely

honest. I was totally freaking out also but it went great and my

recovery is going good. The only thing that I find challenging is the

eating part as I am still on liquids or soft foods.

If you want to know anything specific please don't hesitate to ask.
