I really needed a bit of humour today! LoL!! On another note...I wonder if anyone else out there takes Metformin? I don't take it for diabetes, but for insulin resistance/PCOS. I started taking it in November (dose is now 500mg 3X/day), and since I started taking it...and since my stress level has been off the charts since the end of November... I've lost 20 lbs without really trying. I go through periods at the moment where I can't even choke food down. THIS is new for me. Unheard of. Not that I'm complaining, because I had a bounceback of 25 lbs, so losing this weight isn't a bad thing. I guess what I'm wondering is this: has anyone else taken Metformin and found that it gives them a more " normal " view of food. I eat because my body needs fuel. Food isn't appealing otherwise. I know that my body is processing carbs much better on the Metformin. I hope this is an excellent side effect of the drug! I hope it lasts! =) I'm not sure if this miracle is due to the Metformin or the extreme stress (and/or the accompanying depression)... pandy
