Hi everybody,

My name is and I just joined this group today. I had RNY

Gastric Bypass on 09/13/02. A few months afterward I found that what

I thought was rumbling intestines was actually fetal movement... I

was 6 weeks pregnant at the time of my surgery. Thank God, my

healthy daughter was born at full term and is now nearly 2 years old!

On to my question... once I found out I was pregnant, my focus (and

that of my doctors) changed from losing weight, to eating as much as

I possibly could to nourish the fetus. I did lose 120 pound while I

was pregant and another 20 after that, but in June of 2003, 10

months after surgery, my weight loss stopped. I was still 60 pounds

away from goal. Since that time, to my horror, I gained back 40

pounds! I have been battling my weight, and now I feel like I am

back to yo yo dieting again... lose a little... gain it back.

Ok really my question now... I am exactly 100 pounds over weight.

Should I be trying to take this weight off as best I can, or should

I be considering revision??? Any info would be great!
