Guest guest
Secondly, regarding tummy shrinking. (This is not scientific) I once dreamt that the stomach has a nerve near the top, bottom and sides that signals fullness when the food especially reaches that top line and touches or presses Actually.......this is scientifically correct. My surgeon explained to me that the top part of the stomach is much " thicker " then the bottom.....and that this is where the nerves are that signal " fullness " when eating...... P. Guest guest
How very true regarding the nerve---it has a name....something like Vargas. Anyway......it was so cool when someone posted all about this, I think on the Protein site. How it works for me, and many others......as the stomach gets full it puts pressure on the nerve and believe it or not it causes your nose to start running. And for me, if I get to the point where I start sneezing then I know I have had a spoonful too much and I will throw up. Once I found out about this nerve and the nose running thing it is now very easy for me to know when to stop. It sounds so silly but loads of people wrote in saying the same happens to them------what can I say----a great tool!!!! BJ in Va. Pugliese wrote: Secondly, regarding tummy shrinking.
