Guest guest
, It is an Rx item, but it's about $6 for a 30-dose vial. Needles will run 15 to 35 cents each, depending on your pharmacy. You should ask your doc for the scrip next time you go for the shot, and ask the nurse to show you how to do it. It's easy! And if you forget, I have directions on my website, complete with photos: http://www.ziobro.us/Blogger/WLS.html HTH, Z Open RNY 09/17/01 http://www.ziobro.us B 12 Injectable Hello Group, Back again with another question. So glad you guys are so knowledgeable. Your knowledge has really helped smooth my gastric bypass road. Thank you. Now for the question. I need to start taking B12 shots every two weeks. I have read on this forum of people that give themselves their own shots and they said that the b12 was reasonable and did not have to have a prescription. Can you tell me where you buy it from? It is an hour each way to my doc and to have to go in every two weeks plus pay for them to give me the shot, makes it a rediculous price. Thanks for your help. 313/154 11/7/02 RNY w/Fobi Pouch Dr. Gorospe/Tulsa
