Guest guest
I've experienced a VERY close relationship to lightheadedness/anxiety/panic attacks/ " seizures " /difficulty focusing/irritability and gut issues - for the past three years I've often had any or all of these symptoms come out of the blue, and, within 20 minutes either had a bowel movement or flatulence (sometimes belching) and the symptoms go away. Try explaining THIS to a doctor!! :-) I had a chiropractor who specializes in adrenal fatigue (which I have been diagnosed with) make the SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) diagnosis two years ago, went on Xifanax and all the " mental " issues prior to bowel/digestive activity disappeared! The diarrhea, and accompanying issues, unfortunately came back over time. After two solid months of diarrhea (started two days after Memorial Day Weekend - my oldest vomited all over the house and I think I picked up bacteria cleaning up after him...), and slowly taking foods out to find the culprit, I stopped eating all starchy foods July 25th (I was already GF so all I did was remove the rice based foods, already had given up potato products prior) and the diarrhea IMMEDIATELY stopped. Two days after that the " seizures/anxiety attacks... " began!! I now realize it was a die-off! After loaning out two of my BTVC books, I finally got a third copy on Thursday and it all makes sense now!! I can so see the GUT-BRAIN connection. Also, I always knew I would have diarrhea the next day when I woke up at 7:20 am, if I slept through the morning - no diarrhea! As far as time goes - the body goes through a 24 hour " repair " cycle of energy, focusing on a different part of the body every two hours. 2-4:00 am is Liver Energy, 6-8:00 am (when I would wake up) is large intestine energy. Liver Energy has MANY correlations, some that may make a difference (cause energy to be stuck and have you awaken) are: anger, frustration, irritability, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, nausea, digestive issues, allergies...there are many more but these seem to fit best. Any practitioner that works with moving stuck energy should be able to help with moving your " liver " energy - AKA: acupuncture, acupressure, Jin Shin Jyutsu, TKM (The King Method - what I do).
