NEWBIE! overbite jaw surgery in Southern California

Hi all

I am a 23 year old female living in Los Angeles. I have a slight

overbite and I've been advised by dentists to get a jaw surgery for

lower jaw advancement.

Can people who had the lower jaw advancement tell me what it's like?

1) the total cost for you.

2) which doctor/hospital did you go to. how would you rate them?

3) how long did it take you to fully recover.

4) what it's like post-op. Did you have trouble breathing.

5) Is there a possibility that the surgery might go bad? and what's the

consequence of it? (eg. unable to move lower jaw forever)

Please help me.... I really would like to learn more about it.
