Guest guest
Liver is best for low iron. Also beets - if he likes borscht (beet soup) with meat bones is delicious. You can also add yogurt to that for some beautiful fuschia colored food. Red lentils are the easiest, IME - though that doesn't mean it will be for him. You don't have to soak those as long since they are very soft, though you can if you want. I would cook it until it all softens completely and begins to disintegrate and blend it so it is smooth. Mara > Need to give him all the iron foods I can think of. HOW Long Do I soak > the lentils 12 hrs or more. Please , so I do it right. Cook how long. > He is eating beef liver 2 times a wk. roasted green and red peppers, > some spinach , plenty meats. Can't do raisins , what else? I plan to cook lentils how ever long and then mash the heck out of them .. I will give only 1/4 cup. > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
