Guest guest
It has been a long time since I have had to go back to the intro diet (mine includes chicken broth, bits of chicken, mashed avocado, mashed deseeded and cooked zucchini, cooked apples and cooked bananas), thankfully!! However, I have been eating it (plus cabbage juice) for a week now. It seems to keep my pain levels down and I only have D (with B and M) one or two times per early morning and then I am fine for most of the day, but I don't know how long I can safely stay in this place. Fortunately, I have the ability to rest/sleep whenever I need to right now, but we will be traveling for a month in October in Europe and I am pretty sure I won't find my very plain chicken broth for 3 weeks throughout Europe! Every time I try to add anything, pain and frequency goes up. I feel like that is a setback, but I really need to start " practicing " with more food before leaving in Oct so that I can eat on the trip. I am taking 40 mg of Prednisone right now and probiotics as well as some vitamins (D, K, Folic Acid and a multi). I have stopped the omegas since they can act like blood thinners and I don't want to encourage blood flow in my intestines. What do you think?
