Guest guest
Hi Pam, I hope you don't mind me butting in here, but being that I am 40 and just had a Lefort 3-piece on June 28th, I thought I would throw a few words in. Yes, that tingling you are having is surely a good sign. At times I still have these little sharp needle pains which my OS says is good signs as the nerves start recovering. I find that if I just massage the spot where the needle pains are, it helps. The little pains I have only last a few seconds and come and go. You will notice as the swelling goes down you will feel more tingles during this time. Hang in there because it will surely get better. At about 5 weeks postop I was nearly 95% better. I returned back to work at 4 weeks postop which was a little tough at first but each day surely got better. Keep a positive attitude and if you have a bad day just remember that tomorrow is another day and will get better. With you being over 12 days postop, you should start seeing steady improvements each day. Hang in there, you are still early in your recovery!
