Guest guest
Hi Liam had a stomach emptying test. It showed reflux but stomach emptying was on the high side of normal. The test Liam had involved a dye being put into his stomach through his gtube and he had to have films taken every 15min for an hour then every half hour I think for another 2 hours. We are in Australia so it may be different for you. The fundo ? has never come up for Liam firstly because nobody checked him for reflux when he was young, all his Dr said he vomitted because his stomach was small and he couldnt fit more in, then as he got older he just had tiny little feeds often(every hour) now he has alot of gut issues that probably could have been avoided if we had known to watch and treat properly. I hope to avoid a fundiplication with Liam, if he continues to put on weight and not show signs of reflux we will. He is having endoscopy and a biopsy soon which will show how well his reflux meds are working. Jody > > > > Hi Everyone. Sorry it's been so long.
