Guest guest
Hi , I'm so sorry about your family members. I hope they were able to evacuate safely and that the storm will turn away and not damage their homes. My husband just came back from Biloxi and was horrified by the devastation down there. We met while we were both in the Air Force at Keesler in Biloxi (and where I started this whole orthognathic journey). After we married, we moved into my beach house in Long Beach and rented out his house in Ocean Springs. When we moved to NC, we sold the beach house and continued to rent out his house. I'm glad we did it that way because the beach house (and most of Long Beach) is completely gone. All that was left is a few stubs of the large concrete stilts it was on. There was very little rubble. I only hope that all of our former neighbots got out. Our friends' houses, the place we met, the restaurant where we had our first date, the church we married in, the B & B we stayed in for our wedding night, our favorite restaurants, etc is all gone. I'm heartbroken for all the people that still lived down there. I can't even begin to imagine what it would have been like if we still lived there and had kids. Hang in there with the chewing. It will get better for us. I've actually worked up to soft pieces of chicken that I cut up into small pieces. I still drink my Boost at work so I make sure I get my calories in and don't lose more weight. Lexi, my four year old, keeps asking me " Mommy, can you eat steak now? " especially right after I come back from a doctor's appt or PT. She's such a sweetie and so far has perfect teeth. At least someone in the family does! Good luck at your next ortho appt. Mine wasn't too bad. They were very gentle with me and besides I'm still very numb. The numbness is good for some things! I'm praying for your family. Keep us updated on how they're doing. minirascal > Hi , > > It is nice to hear from you. I like you have been so busy these past > few weeks. I don't know if I am coming or going.
