Guest guest
Dear jacque, please see you pcp and run more tests. Also, please see Dr. Oh or Shrikanth. This just does not sound right. I remember you sent me the pix of yourself at wedding and of course I saw you with my own eyes at 126 or so last fall. That part about sudden gain doesnt grok with my rational mind, as it doesnt yours either. About your getting tired on the treadmill worries me.... how much thyroid are you taking now, dosage wise? Hang in there, and please please see the docs. Ask about pituitary also... This comes with love and concern ceep << Hi Ceep~ This has basically been since the beginning of this past fall. My son was married in June..towards the end, and I have pictures of myself thin as a rail...in my size 6 dress. I didn't begin to gain it immediately after his wedding...but probably about a month and a half later. To ME this is sudden I've been holding my own for a few weeks now at 5'6 " and 156 lbs. Give or take a few either way. I'm just waiting for the second shoe to drop..and another huge gain to come along. Only cuz this much has happened in such a short period of time...what's to stop it from happening again and again? That's where the fear factor lies with me right now. Yes...my thyroid had gone kerflop there for awhile...and she has once again upped the dose. I still don't feel it is enough. I'm doing daily treadmill sessions...trying to do an hour...spread out into two session...as I get so exhausted. So there you have it. Hope you are doing okay and have gotten some answers. Love~ Jacque " My cat knows the song in my heart and purrs it to me when my memory fails me. " Dear Jacque and others .... was this a sudden 30 pounds bounceback. Over how long did it take? Has your pcp run tests on your thyroid, and other tests? It seems like you are getting 1000 calories a day from your protein.... that doesnt seem like alot.... Let us know what your doc says, hang in there, love, ceep ----------------------- Headers -------------------------------- Return-Path: Received: from rly-xn03.mx.aol.com (rly-xn03.mail.aol.com [172.20.83.136]) by air-xn04.mail.aol.com (v97.18) with ESMTP id MAILINXN42-63b402820383c3; Mon, 09 Feb 2004 19:05:38 -0500 Received: from gh-mail.centurytel.net (gh-mail.centurytel.net [209.206.160.252]) by rly-xn03.mx.aol.com (v97.10) with ESMTP id MAILRELAYINXN35-63b402820383c3; Mon, 09 Feb 2004 19:05:12 -0500 Received: from jacque (pppoe--69.29.34.212-rb.gh.centurytel.net [69.29.34.212]) by gh-mail.centurytel.net (8.12.10/8.12.10) with SMTP id i1A05CQx005896; Mon, 9 Feb 2004 18:05:12 -0600 (CST) MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-Id: <40282036.000018.04020@jacque> Date: Mon, 9 Feb 2004 16:05:10 -0800 (Pacific Standard Time) Content-Type: Multipart/related; type= " multipart/alternative " ; boundary= " ------------Boundary-00=_MKDUJDU1VA4000000000 " X-Mailer: IncrediMail (2001184) X-FID: FLAVOR00-NONE-0000-0000-000000000000 X-Priority: 3 To: , " Graduate-OSSG " <Graduate-OSSG > Subject: Re: Staple lline disruption X-AOL-IP: 209.206.160.252 X-AOL-SCOLL-SCORE: 1:XXX:XX X-AOL-SCOLL-URL_COUNT: 1 >>

Guest guest
Yeah, I'm with Ceep...I just can't buy the bounceback thing...not with you, not so much, so fast. It's almost like a steroid gain. I'm sure you've thought this through, but no change in meds, or even a new combo of meds that might, on the surface, seem innocent? in NJ ********************** > Dear jacque, please see you pcp and run more tests.
