Guest guest
My insurance paid for mine or will be paying for mine. I had to prove the same things prior to the revision that I did prior to the original surgery. That was not a problem. Some insurance companies require medical necessity. Others, I am sure, won't pay for it. Guest guest
Mine did, too. I had regained 17 pounds at 6 months out, bringing my BMI at that time to 35.6. My surgeon said it was a question of them seeing the benefit of approving it now, rather than waiting for me to gain all my weight back. My insurance at that time was Horizon BC/BS of NJ, and I thank G*d that someone there had the forsight to approve. in NJ open RNY 8/99 SLD Lap stomach transection 8/00 ****************************** > Mine paid.
