Terre,

All that information in one place~ Thanks Terre. Just a word of caution to those who may have thyroid problems: Too much soy protein can lead to a more sluggish thyroid in some people. Being a little on the wired swide, I don't worry about this much, though I do prefer whey protein. I have even grown my own edible soy beans, which are very tasty, and a bit on the nutty side. If you can get them, I highly recommend them.

And thinking of the thyroid again, there also seems to be a connection between a sluggish thyroid and too much of the vgetables in the cabbage family. Of course these vegetablesa are said to benefit inflimjation, so I do eat these in moderation.

Terre you have made me hungry for beans just in time for supper.:-)
