Okay, well, I have to brag here. You know how I always say how

always amazes me through everything he goes through???? Well,

this time is NO exception! You guys, he did wonderfully. I just

can't believe him. First of all, I am ALWAYS worried about

intubation. But, they did very well and there wasn't any problems.

Thank God. But, they were prepared with a whole team of people in

the OR " just in case " !

Everyone we came in contact with was very nice and accommodating,

once again. Everyone was more than willing to follow my instructions

on what to do and how to proceed with things. His pulmonary doctor

and I have a great relationship and she gave the orders that followed

the " protocol " . I was very happy. But, most of all, I am happy we

are already home. You guys, was so good. He complained about

wanting to come home, but who wouldn't. Even with the little bit of

sleep he got last night, he was very laid back and tolerant of

everything. This afternoon, I held him as soon as he came back from

recovery and held him most of the day, other than potty breaks! It

was great to hold him in my arms and comfort him after all he had

been through. And, heck, he deserved every minute of it. ;o) He

waited so patiently all day and dosed on and off. He only fought me

one time, but that was short lived.

At home, he has been playing with his brother and hanging out with

daddy. He even got a bath tonight! I have thought about taking his

picture several times, but haven't yet. If I do, I will post it for

you all to see. Then you can see what he went through and what an

amazing attitude he has despite it all! Sorry for the boast. I just

couldn't be prouder! ;o)

Thanks to everyone that sent out thoughts and prayers for us. I

appreciate you all so much. I am hopeful now that his eye heals

without any problems.
