Guest guest
B-12 liquid will not work if you have had an rny as you do not have the intrinsic factor to allow it to be absorbed. It needs to by taken sublingual (sub=under, lingual=tongue) for absorption. UNLESS the liquid is made to be placed under the tongue for absorption. Can you not take B Complex tablets? Amber/FLRN B-12 question again I just wanted to know if the liquid B-12 is as absorbed as the sublingual tabs. I found some b-complex drops with 1000mcg of b-12 as well as several other b vits at GNC and the taste is acceptable. I need a good b complex and am hoping this will do it for me. Guest guest
The liquid B-12 should be just as effective as the sublingual B-12. Since the B-12 is not in a food substance, Intrinsic Factor is not needed to separate the B-12 out of food. Intrinsic Factor breaks down proteins to release B-12, but where the B-12 is already released, Intrinsic Factor is not needed.
