Hi – My practitioner suggested I take Sacro-B – one at breakfast and one at dinner. Do you all take it with food? What dosage do you usually take? I have Thorne brand. No, I take it away from food - which works better for me. I take 3 or 4 either before bed, in the middle of the nightif I wake up or first thing in the morning. Mara

Here is what GI Prohealth has to say about dosage and when to take it.

However, note that some members of this group do, in fact, use SB long-term...

Suggested use:

S Boulardii is generally used for short term gastroinetinal support. Daily doses

ranging from 250 to 1000 milligrams providing 2.5 billion CFU's taken once to

four times per day have be reported in medical literature. A common supplement

regimen lasts 3 to 4 weeks or for up to two weeks after diarrhea has resolved.

S boulardii should be taken at least one hour before and two hours after any

antifugal agent.

S boulardii can be taken along with antibacterial antibiotics. It is compatible

with probiotic supplements.
