Guest guest
Hi. I just wanted to welcome you to this great group here. This is such a wonderful place to come and ask questions and everyone is so supportive. I love it. Sorry it has taken me so long to say hi. Actually I had a post started to you earlier today, but I got a phone call and lost it in the meantime. So, I just wanted to give you a welcome shout! I also had an eventful pregnancy and I wanted to also tell you that they thought my son, , was going to have Trisomy 18 and brought up termination. Of course, my husband and I refused. That just isn't in our moral beliefs. They induced me and then I ended up having a c- section at exactly 34 weeks. graced us with his presence weighing 2 lbs. 12 1/2 oz. and was 14 1/4 " long. He had a lot of trouble after birth and was ultimately kept in the hospital until he was one day shy of his three month birthday! It has been an adventure for us. wasn't diagnosed with RSS until he was 17 months old weighing in at a mere 10 lbs. 10 oz. Luckily, we were steered towards Dr. Harbison and she was the one who diagnosed him. Doctors here were at a loss! So, I wanted you to know that you weren't/aren't alone in all of this and that we all support each other like one big family Some of us have made some very close friendships and email or phone often. And, Sheldon put it so nicely one time when he welcomed another new person to this list and he coined the phrase " Welcome home " . And, that is just waht this is......home. Where everyone understands. Have you posted a picture of Brockton yet? We would love for you to share. I hope you can make it to the Convention this year as it is absolutely a wonderful experience. Take care, Jodi R.
