The treatment for RSS and SGA is basically the same. But SGA kids are

at a greater risk of developing insulin resistance and type 2

diabetes. The similarity in treatment and other characteristics is

what led Dr. H. to encourage MAGIC to put the two groups together into

one division. Sometimes parents of SGA children have a harder time

getting approval for treatment from the insurance companies. They

don't always recognize SGA as a medical condition. Oh, we still have

so much educating to do....
