Guest guest Posted September 13, 2005 Report Share Posted September 13, 2005 I certainly agree with Fiddly that any time anyone has had cancer, it's appropriate to consult the oncologist, radiologist, etc. before undertaking any new regime. The disease can be too scary and strange not to take that simple precaution. But I can tell you, as I think I've mentioned before here, that at our local hospitals one of the physical therapists has taken specific training in MLD so that she can help women who have lost lymph nodes and breast tissue to cancer. She says, and the hospital has published in its newsletter, that MLD can help with the swelling that is so problematic for some women. About problems in other areas, I know not.
