Guest guest
I guess all we can do is ignore ignorance. Don't let them keep you from enjoying life. Due to where I live I don't get to do enjoyable things since I am on oxygen. I used to go dancing and sailing. If my house sells and I move I plan on doing as many enjoyable things as I can and I don't plan on letting anyone ruin that. People can be rude but ignore them. I think maybe you should have told her that you didn't mind if she moved.Beverley Joy,71,PF 1-09, Chronic HP, birds and mold 12-09,Sjogren's,Fibromyalgia IdahoSubject: Lady Complains About My CoughTo: Breathe-Support Date: Monday, February 1, 2010, 10:56 AM Hi Everyone, I went to the theater Saturday night to see Bold Fresh Tour with Bill O'Reilly & Glenn Beck. I was dropped at the door of the theater, but after walking a ways to get to my seat (I had my portable oxygen on) I was coughing. This always happens, but stops after I sit quietly for a few minutes. The lady sitting in front of me turned around and said to me, "are you going to be doing that all night, because if you are I'm moving." I explained to her that I didn't have anything contagious, and after I sit for awhile the cough would stop. She was very rude, and almost ruined my evening. This makes me want to stay home all the time ~ it makes you feel you are burden everywhere you go. Just wanted to vent about this. Another thing some of you were asking about the cough, and what to take. I think I have said this on here before, but my Dr. gave me a Rx for Hydrocodone 5-500 mg. I take one in the morning and one in the evening. It helps a lot. I still have those hard coughing spells if I move around very much without my oxygen on. Just wanted to put my two cents in. Have a happy day everyone. Pat
Guest guest
I have found that being ultra polite and nice to people like this makes them feel awful. It seems to work for me. However, afterwards, like you, I feel awful and lesser than, if you know what I mean.----- "fracolpatricia" wrote: > > > > Hi Everyone,> > I went to the theater Saturday night to see Bold Fresh Tour with Bill O'Reilly & Glenn Beck.> I was dropped at the door of the theater, but after walking a ways to get to my seat (I had my portable oxygen on) I was coughing. Guest guest
Dear dear Pat, I'm sorry your night was thrown off by such a mean woman! You were much more patient than I would have been. I probably would have told her to go ahaed and move. People like that make me want to clunk them over the head with my O2 canister On another note... How was the show? I would love to see them together. Besides Glenn Beck is kinda hot! 34 FL IPF dx 1/06 > > Hi Everyone, > > I went to the theater Saturday night to see Bold Fresh Tour with Bill O'Reilly & Glenn Beck. > I was dropped at the door of the theater, but after walking a ways to get to my seat (I had my portable oxygen on) I was coughing. Guest guest
LOL Beverly, I should have told her that. I pray that your house sells. Let me tell you what to do ~ bury a little statue of St. ph upside down in the back yard facing the road, and it will sell. I have never seen this fail. Guest guest
, You are too funny. Im on prednisone, and I can get pretty feisty sometimes, so the lady was lucky I stayed calm. The show was absolutely fantastic. I have not laughed that hard in forever. It was an effort for me to go, but well worth it. I think Glenn Beck would love being told he's hot. lol.PatTo: Breathe-Support Sent: Mon, February 1, 2010 2:00:13 PMSubject: Re: Lady Complains About My Cough Dear dear Pat, I'm sorry your night was thrown off by such a mean woman! Guest guest
I love all you polite people. Actually I am polite most of the time, as I fear if I start I will not stop, until someone drags me away. I think I might have asked her, what was taking her so long. Move aready. , You think Glen Beck is hot. I guess hot like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. LOL Marcia
