Guest guest
Hi Tina, I agree with another poster who said that we do so much with this process, we do deserve certain indulgences. For me, it is definitely coffee. I had NONE for almost the first 6 months post op. Now I do 2 mugs of decaf every morning. I mean, I gave up a nearly 20 year smoking habit to have surgery, carbonation and caffeine, sugar, etc. I do splurge on GOOD decaf, however. I get Millstone whole bean coffee in Vanilla Nut Cream (decaf). Once I accidentally got regular and oh boy! That was a lively week for me....I think that was the last time I scrubbed the bathroom from top to bottom LOL Unless you're buying Swiss Water process decaf, I believe that even decaf coffee has TRACE amounts of caffeine. For me, it's enough to get me going in the morning. Just make up for with the water, as always! Cheers!
