I laughed so hard a cried. Let's see, to answer your questions, my

husband has already warned me about " popping in " on my surgeon before

we've officially introduced. However, if he does not hurry home from

Tennesse, I don't know if I can control myself. LOL

The other surgeon, Dr. Fiddler, I do feel bad that he may have taken

on a bad habit on my account. I be he is a reformed smoker of like

ten years, and I have single-handedly driven him back to the " dark

side " . I don't know what a fair charge for that would be. I wonder,

will my insurance cover that? They should, if they only knew.

I think you should come to UNC with me. That place wouldn't know

what hit them. I did get my first appt, Dec 5th. Can you believe

that? Apparently, Dr. Turvey will only see new patients after

reviewing thier case. He talked to my OD and they know each other,

and he said that he trusted her and if she thought I needed to be

there, he would take my case. I did have a nice, long chat with his

secretary and she is going to call me if there is a cancelation. She

said there was one other person who had asked the same and she had to

call them first, but I told her I would come on short notice (in my

mind this puts me at the top of the list). I would normally tell

anyone this, but I have my molds, X-rays, ect in my car so that I can

go with any notice. I will carry all of this in my car until Dec.

LOL Although, we both know, it will be before that:)

Sorry, it took so long to respond, my modem went bad and they

couldn't get to me until this morning. Two days. I thought I would

die (drama). At first, it was going to be Monday, but I got them to

fix it on Sat. I thought I was going through withdraws. I really do

get a lot of support from this group. Anyway, I hope you are healing

well.
