Oh wow I certainly hope that didn't happen to me! So all they did to

fix your co-worker's problem was to keep her on bands for 2 more

weeks? No further surgery?

Yes that is all they did. It was an extremely small break that

didn't require more surgey ... just simple banding for two more

weeks. It was really painful for her. The pain was in her ear as

well. Although the fracture was small, it was painful every time

she opened her mouth. It is worth a shot. I hope it is that simple

for you. Let me know ... my prayers are with you!
