Guest guest
Wow! That's great that you were able to bounce back so quickly! I had lower jaw advancement (no chin work) on July 23 and while I did feel better 5 days later, I still have yet to drive or go back to work. I feel generally fine, but I'm just in no hurry. I wish I had the determination to get back to normal that you do! Congratulations on your " new face " I am glad you are pleased with the results. -Ash > > > I had orthognathic surgery on lower jaw with chin augmentation on > August 2nd and returned to work this past Sunday, August 14. Guest guest
Thank you very much; nice to hear from you. I think deadlines at work gave me the determination to get better. The dr. would have given more time off but left it up to me. Take all the time you need and enjoy the summer! ashleebear05 wrote:Wow! That's great that you were able to bounce back so quickly! Guest guest
Don't push yourself too hard at work (I'm not sure what kind of work you do). I went back after 5 weeks off (could have gone back sooner but listened to the recommendations of my massage therapist) and after I did some mega overtime, I had to take a few days off to recover. Normally I have unlimited energy, so it was really a surprise to me how my body had reacted to how hard I was pushing it. These days I listen more carefully to it, and I treat it a lot better than I did before I started this whole process. Glad all went well for you! > > > > > > I had orthognathic surgery on lower jaw with chin augmentation on > > August 2nd and returned to work this past Sunday, August 14.
