Another Post-Op Question: Percoset!

Hi,

I hope I am not bothering you all at this point, but I guess thats what this

site is for!

I have been prescribed Percoset for pain when I got home. Like I said

before, I was on morphine in the hospital, and that worked perfectly until I

was supposed to go home, and they gave me regular tylenol, which wasnt

working out so well. So I was off of morphine around 10am, and taking

Tylenol at noon, and finally got home at about 7pm, and took the percoset as

soon as I got in. I have been taking the 2 pills every 4 hours, and I took 2

pills yesterday at 7pm, 11pm, and 3am. I woke up around 4am feeling very

itchy everywhere. My parents got me some benadryl, and that kicked in right

away and now I feel less itchy. ut has anyone else had this problem? The

percoset is working great for pain and discomfort, if it wasnt for the

itching. I know benedryl is pretty harmless, but Is taking benedryl and

percoset a long term solution, or should I call my doctor tomorrow? Any

advice would be great!! Thanks again, and sorry to be a bother!
