Hello All-

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the support and advice

over the past few days. After speaking with all of you and seeking

advice from various medical professionals I have dediced to cancel my

Aug. 24th appt. to have a sliding genioplasty. You were all right -

this cosmetic procedure would just cover up whatever is wrong and

possibly make things worse. I am now researching orthodontists and

surgeons and I am excited about my decision. I will most likely need

to have both my upper and lower jaw done as well as a cosmetic

genioplasty. So I'm in it for the long haul, and I'm happy to be

joining your community!
