Hi Sara,

The pain is located on the right hand side in the upper gum area

above where the jaw was segmented. My OS stated that a

plate is right above this area. I can feel a big bump in this area.

As of now it is going to be an outpatient procedure unless he finds

something when he opens the area up. He is hoping to go in and clean

out the area and possibly remove some of the plates and screws.

I am glad to hear that you did get your bottom braces off, but so

sorry you had to endure all that pain. Yikes, almost makes me happy

that I haven't had to go through that just yet! Maybe I better hold

off on wanting the braces off for Christmas..(haha) Well at least you

did get half of them removed and maybe it is best you are getting a

little break before getting the uppers removed after what you went

through. I will keep you in my thoughts and fingers crossed those

uppers will be a breeze to remove.

I will keep you posted about Tuesday & thanks for that huge virtual

hug which I am sending back at ya for having to go through all that

pain!
