Guest guest
Hi, I have been a member of this support group for less than 4 months and I am kind of new to this family. Honestly I don't really understand what has been happening here in the past two days about postings. I would definitely like to say that since I live in Colombia, really far from all of you, being exposed to a very rare disorder and having almost none contact with people related to it, I have found this support group as it, SUPPORTIVE!... I have considered this as a light after the tunnel, as a window of hope and an excellent way to understand what is happening with my family, with my son and how other parents in the world have been handeling this. I don't have the time to read everyone's posts as I check them at work but I try to read as many as I can and I have learned tons of things, I have shared with my husband amazing stories about you guys that have opened our eyes on seeing this disorder in Nicolas not as a disease but as an opportunity to become the best parents and to give him all the tools and things he need to become a happy, healthy and grateful son. I have received really good answers to my questions (not as much as I expected byt really quality ones) and I have felt all of you as a family. I would love to meet some of you in the future, but in the meantime I hope to be able to count with you all trough this support group and to keep reading about your families, your problems, your satisfactions and everything. You can't imagine how useful this has been to me and how much I feel I need you in the future as I am aware that the treatment we will begin is not going to be any near to easy. I hope someday, in a few years, I can be supportive as some of you have been to me and give as much love, energy and prayers, to new members that would felt the same way I do. I bless you all for being so supportive and I hope we still be together, sharing our lifes and being there for whoever needs us. Thanks a lot to all!
