Guest guest
Does anyone have assymetry problems due to a fractured condoyle as a child?. Is it possible to have orthognathic surgery when the jaw has already been broken and suffered damage? Is it safe to rebreak your jaw and if not can they use artificial jaw joints if there are any problems?
Guest guest
Hi Recpai, I haven't had this, but it sounds like a good question for your OMS. Have you been to a consult yet? It is an interesting question. I hope you find someone here who has been through this already and can give you some first hand experience, but please let us know what you find out too. Good luck with this, Hugs, Fran > > Does anyone have assymetry problems due to a fractured condoyle as a > child?. > Is it possible to have orthognathic surgery when the jaw has already > been broken and suffered damage? > Is it safe to rebreak your jaw and if not can they use artificial jaw > joints if there are any problems? >
