Hi a,

I too have a desk job...Executive Assistant (in title, but basically

everyone in the dept's backup), but I elected to take 3 weeks off. I

figured I wouldn't push it. I work for about 45 people and sometimes

it can be a bit exhausting, mentally and physically, so I didn't want

to push trying to be back if I wasn't ready.

OD put my surgical posts on my braces today....OS had me come in to

the office to double check some bite issues.

Looks like I'm getting down to the wire.

This pre-op time is killing me. Too much time to think. Wish I

could fast forward about 2 months : )

Thanks for the info, I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Sandy

Hi Sandy,

How are you surgical wires? Do they bother you? I've heard it is sometimes

difficult to eat and that the lips can get caught on them. I'm going for

mine next Tuesday, three weeks before surgery.

Good luck to you. I hope the days pass quickly.
