Guest guest
Hi Jill, I'm butting in on your mail to Clare....if you are only 2 weeks past your surgery don't panic about your smile. I couldn't smile after 2 weeks either. I'm almost 5 weeks now and I can smile without it hurting ... but I still haven't gotten my full smile back. You may have more swelling in your upper face than you realize, this will be a cause of your inability to smile properly, and ... I'm not sure exactly what you had done this time, but if you sutures inside your mouth then until the tissues heal and stretch out a bit, you won't have your regular smile either. So....don't panic about your smile, I'll bet each week you will notice it coming back a little bit more, and it'll be better than ever! Also....about the numbness....I have no feeling in my upper gums either .... I'm trying to be patient - you're not alone. Pam > > > > Hello everyone!
