Not only do those males now appear when boxes need to be lifted, they

come out of the woodwork at every possible juncture. The baggers at the

grocery store enthusiastically want to " help me out " with my groceries (before,

only the " old guys " who liked women with " meat on their bones " smiled and

offered

to help). Men on the elevator hold the door when I walk up -- and then they

want to make conversation with me during in the ride. Men smile each time

they pass me in the aisles of the grocery store. They offer to help me pump my

gas. They rush to pick up things I drop. They rush to open doors. They give

me a full " body scan " with their eyes instead of looking away or at the floor.

I never realized before how foolish they were! I guess that's what

sexual attraction does to them. It's a whole new world.

At times it's a bit overwhelming, but for the most part, I love it.

It may seem shallow, but I enjoy being objectified for a change -- before, I

only got someone's attention on purely a cerebral level. While I'm in a great

marriage, it's really nice to know that there are other men out there that

" want " me too.
