Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!

Ready or not, tomorrow is SURGERY DAY!! I should be packing instead

of playing on the internet, but I'll get to that in a little bit. I

have to be at the hospital at 5:30am for surgery at 7:30am. The plan

is to advance my lower jaw and reduce my chin, and my surgeon says the

surgery should last about 3 hours. I'll then go the Surgical ICU for

the night, into a regular room Tuesday and home Wednesday. The thing

that scares me the most right now is waking up afterwards. I'm so

afraid of feeling claustrophic and sick, and not being able to

communicate this to anyone. I so wish they would let my husband sit

with me in recovery. Hopefully I'll still be too drugged to care,

though.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your stories and your photos, as well

as your advice and encouragement. And most of all, thanks for your

prayers. I'll try to let you know later in the week how everything

goes.
