Hi Amy,

I'm sorry to hear that Abby is having so many problems. I would definitely

cut the amount of formula you're pouring in for now. Maybe if you do 1/2 the

amount, twice as often??? I would think it would be better to do a lesser

amount than to have her vomiting all the time.

A couple of questions....

Has she had a recent delayed gastric emptying study done?? Gastric emptying

times can and do change. Might be that she's never had a problem before, but

does now.

Have you had her checked for constipation?? I know several people on this

list serve have mentioned that although their child would BM daily, they

were still considered constipated/backed-up. Worth checking out if nothing

else....

Did Abby have a triple procedure when her g-tube was placed??? If so, could

she have blown her fundo??

Have you considered running a low profile GJ button, and changing her over

to J feedings???

Have you considered a change in formula?? Maybe she's just not tolerating

this formula any longer??

Have you considered continuous feeds?? You would be able to run a lower rate

and still obtain the same amount of calories.....

Just some thoughts and ideas. I'm sorry if it's not a lot of help. Will be

thinking of you! Please keep us updated on how Abby is doing, ok??
