Guest guest
Hi all, I am a 9 year survivor of IPF. Yes, I said survivor since I am still surviving even though it will eventually get me. I also have Sarcoidosis and Pulmonary Hypertension. But I am not here today to write about me. I am in the midst of trying to write a " handout " on how to deal with someone who has a terminal illness. But I want this info to come from people who have are terminally ill or are a caregiver of one who is terminally ill. I want to compile ideas and thoughts of us " down in the trenches " who are directly dealing with this issue of being a terminally ill person. In other words, " If I had one thing to say to a person about my being termially ill it would be ... EXAMPLE: " If I had one thing to say to a person about my being termially ill it would be ... please don't ignore me..I'm STILL HERE! I would appreciate any thoughts you might have. I am not sure what I will do with this compilation yet but feel that someone needs to tell people about being with a terminally ill person from OUR perspective. Thanks a lot, Jim IPF & Sarcoidosis October 2000 Pulmonary Hypertension 2007
