HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!!!!! LOL

Yes, that's right today is my 1 year anniversary and I can tell y'all I am

soooooooooo ready to start " participating " with this group!! I already know

a couple of you guys (hi Mom ) ) so I don't feel like a complete

stranger!! )

Well, I'm off to try and start this anniversary and the almost New Year on

the right foot and drive the old carb monster away as best as I can (darn

that carb monster!! Why can't I imagine it as that pesky " under my bed "

monster I was so afraid of as a child?)

I look forward to sharing some of my experiences (good & bad) with y'all and

hope to offer as well as gain some good knowledge.

I'm on some silly old pain (Vicodin) medicine and have an upcoming spinal

fusion on the 12th which I'm a bit bummed about, but I also have high hopes

of going through this procedure and winding up with a more stable back and

less pain than I've had in years. I have the best spinal surgeon in the

world (in my opinion & after talking to many people during my pre-admission

testing yesterday many other's opinions) so that has a way of making me a

lot more positive about the outcome.
