Hi Anita,

It is not at all uncommon to have the post op blahs that your

daughter is feeling right now. For 2 weeks post op I didn't want to

do anything with my family or friends either. Part of it was because

of the way I looked and the other part was because I just wanted to

be left alone. Once I started feeling better after 2 weeks post op, I

started feeling more secure being around people. Give it a little

more time and I would bet that soon your daughter will start

venturing out with her friends and family. Remember that she is only

1 week post op and it is still very early in her recovery.

I will talk to you after I return to pick up my girls! Keep up the

good nursing job you are doing with your daughter! You are doing a

great job!!
