Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't been on this board in a while now. I underwent surgery a little over a year ago on my lower jaw. Everything went well and I had a good recovery but I am noticing that I still do not have full movement of my jaw. A lot of times it feels like my jaw gets stuck and I can't move it unless I sort of pop it, which kind of hurts. I also notice it gets stiff and harder to move right after I wake up in the morning and have been laying on it all night. I have very little side to side movement and can't open very wide unless I try to do so very very slowly. I'm wondering if anyone else experience anything similar to this and whether or not it's something I should be concerned about. Any info/advice greatly appreciated! Guest guest
Hi , It could be your muscles still trying to get used to their new position but it could also be your TMJ's. Have you talked to your surgeon about it. If not, you should get in to see them as soon as possible. > Hi all, > I haven't been on this board in a while now.
