thanks for writing me back, i actually feel included now. yes i am

very happy with my results. i think theres still a bit of swelling and

i expect my looks to change a little after im unwired and can smile

again, but for now i love it. i always hated my chin, and my nose too

actually, but now i feel confident about my looks. surgery was a rough

road but i am happy to know that soon it will all be over. by moving

my upper jaw forward my lips are fuller, i can actually wear lipgloss

now! and of course my chin sticks out less, which i think has an

impact on my nose looking so big too. i also got my hair layered with

my bangs cut shorter so they frame my face. i had my first day back at

school yesterday and everyone was complimenting on how different i

look. it made me feel really good. i do have pictures but not sure how

Hello there, I'm sorry you have been ignored in the past. I just

returned from a trip to California a few days ago and am trying to

catch up on all the posting that was done in my absence. My name is

Diane and I have an underbite. I've been in braces for only a month, so

I'm just beginning my Orthognathic Journey. My surgery will be a BSSO

for mandibular set-back and a probable LeFort to advance my maxilla and

drop it down in front; surgery will be next summer or earlier if my

teeth move really fast. // Great to hear you are happy with the results

of your surgery; I hope I will be happy with my results too. I noticed

that you stated that you have some pictures but not sure how to post

them. I had the same problem back in June and a nice gal named Sara

came to my rescue. Her instructions are in Message #92982 (I printed it

up for future reference). The pictures that I eventually

posted/uploaded were the dreaded ones given to me by my OD at my Ortho.

Consult. BTW, I'm the 2nd Diane folder in the Photos section. Those pre-

ortho pictures are quite awful; I'm really alot better looking than I
