Guest guest
This may be a stupid question but I can't figure it our.I read that there is plant based enzymes and pancreatin enzymes. Whats the difference? Is it possible to get amylase, protease and lipase from plants? I also read that pancreatin enzymes don't start to work before they get into the gut but plant based enzymes starts to work in the stomach. Why don't pancreatin enzymes work in the stomach? For the moment I only take pancreatin enzymes (lipase, amylase and protease). But since my problems is to digest vegetable I'm thinking that maybe it would be better to use plant based enzymes? If I buy bromelain in the heath store, is that a plant based enzyme?? I'm so lost in all the different types of enzyme. I have been looking at kirkman, pure caps, thorne, enzymedica, houston.. There is SO many! And many of them are really expensive. I use Creon now, I get them for free. I guess one of the "complete/gold" version would be good because they contains lots of things but they are expensive to get into my country (you can add about 40% more of the US price)..
