Yvonne! Who knew? LOL I guess that's why I don't like snow, I

never learned to ski. That's one thing I really regret, but I never

had strong legs, so I was always afraid to try it. But, sounds like

it was a great New Year's!

having the guy buckle my boots, carry the bags and help me on with my

coat, so i figured i would take a little chance (don't worry

in NJ, I was careful, and i plan to tell dr. steph the whole

story!)....we are off to SnowBird in Utah at the end of

January....how's that for a snow lover....

I love your line that " it came back like I was home. " What a treat to feel

limber and strong, in the cold and shussing down, with that hissing sound, and

your nose red... yup, snow's fun!

will travel for snow...

when my boyfriend saw the huge amount of snow that the west was getting, and

the storms piling up on the pacific.... and that our New Years Eve plans of

traveling from NJ to NH for the long weekend wouldn't have very much snow...he

begged and I caved and then he arranged for us on 12/30 at 4pm to leave on

12/31 at 9am to fly to San Francisco and drive to South Lake Tahoe, we got there

late on 12/31 and then the blizzard hit, we couldn't ski or snowboard on 1/1

(he looked like a kid who wasn't allowed out to play)but the powder was

fantastic for the next three days...we left yesterday, but only because we had

to....i

love the snow...just not the cold...my toes and fingers just won't stay

warm....other than that it was a super weekend...I am even more excited since i

hadn't skiied since way before i had my original RNY Jan 2001, and it came back

like i was home...

I was very careful and was never a big faller or aggressive skiier, so i
