Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just had my midterm assessment and I AM SO HAPPY! I can exercise longer with a lot less shortness of breath. I was cleared to go to the gym and it felt so good. For all the newbies on this site, if you can do pulmonary rehabilitation it is so great. My respiratory therapists are wonderful and very encouraging. It's not only exercising while being monitored, you also have lectures with guest speakers dealing with all kinds of subjects i.e handling stress, portable O2, nutrition etc. And it's so nice to be around other people with lung disease. The majority of my class has COPD from smoking but there is also a patient who had a single lung transplant in Aug. and I have learned so much from him too. nne,55, ILD 6/09, Sjogrens, RA, polymyolitis 10/
