Newbie looking for advice about IV Remicade and yogurt makers.

Hi -I can really relate to what

you said. I was diagnosed in 2007 with UC and had the disease under

control with infrequent flare ups until march of this year when I found

myself in a downward spiral.  I spent 2 weeks in the hospital, lost 30

lbs and had a blood transfusion, NG tube and barely escaped with my

colon which they wanted to remove.  Very harsh wake up to the reality

of this disease.  I was also started on remicade after I did not

respond to prednisone.  I have had 2 transfusions thus far and have had

no negative side effects.  It seems to be helping but I am also doing

acupuncture and taking chinese herbs, so that is helping as well.  I am

curious to hear what negative things you have read about remicade?
