Hey Connie! I just replied to your e-mail! (I'm a little slow...).

This weekend I had pie (lemon angel, lemon with a merangue crust, yum!),

breakfast foods

are all good, a hamburger, fries, onion rings. Gosh what else. Everything I

see!

Learning to chew with my new bite has been weird. Some times it works, some

times it's

not so hot and I feel like I have no idea what is going on. Softer foods seem

to be easier

to eat and chew but what fun is that? :)

Oh no! At least you are getting to eat some things even if they are all over

your chin! It

sounds like you are supported by alot of great people. I know what you mean

about

eating in front of people. I hated eating at work while I had my splint in. I

felt like a dork

#1, and #2 every single time, right as I put something in my mouth someone would

say,

" oh Cori, you can eat! " Well yeah I can eat chopped up mac & cheese and soup,

what do

you think I'm subsiding on. But of course I would be able to say, " muwahumba! "

as I try to

swallow whatever was in my mouth and reply to them. Oh well.

I'm sorry you are stuck in your splint for some time longer. :( I am sending

you healing

vibes from minnesota!!!

talk to you soon!
