Hi all,

Just wanted to let you all know that my surgery went well. I had

lower jaw, a bilateral saggital split, and it was expected to last

about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. It took six hours. However, the OS and his

partner in crime, a fellow OS said the surgery went perfect and that

everything went right the first time and they didn't have to redo it.

That was good news. I have a couple questions for all you vets. When

does the whole weight loss thing plateau? I weighed myself yesterday,

day 5 post-op, and had already lost 12 lbs. I am 5'5 3/4' and had

weighed 157 lbs, so I wasn't fat and I wasn't thin. I was 145 lbs

yesterday and I'm staying off the scale. Also, were any of you dizzy

after your surgery, and how long? I still can't shower or walk down

the hallway by myself. Even when I sit up in bed the room sometime

spins. Help! I know how supportive you all are. Take care of me.

Thanks

Connie
