Guest guest
Please pass this along - from our science advisor at LDNNow - I believe we are all animal lovers. And a lot of you will know currently I'm big on the TH1 to TH2 cells at the moment. Thank you. Passed on by Janet aka Garnet via Dr Skip:- Jayne Crocker www.LDNNow.com Important! I hope this reaches the masses, if not pass it along please. Prednisone is metabolized by a less specific mechanism in animals than in men, so I will stick by my opinion that prednisone or prednisolone in felines should be avoided. Again the th1-th2 shift is the specific mech of action modulated by LDN and pred. Antibiotics really do down-regulate the immune system. What the affect LDN has on antirx I don't know but in the case of such a severe infection, my first inclination would be to kill the bugs quickly. One would not want the th1 to be negatively impacted, sometimes inflammation helps. Dr.Skip In a message dated 9/3/2010 12:18:35 A.M. I know it's hard to hear so much conflicting opinion, but as far as I know it was an assumption that they worked against each other and never actually proven. Never heard of LDN and antibiotics working against each other, in all of the literature I have read on LDN this is the first I have heard about it? If Dr Skip is reading the list I hope he will fill us in on the mechanism of the conflict. Perhaps it is new information or some how I just managed to miss it?
