Eileen,

I'm really confused about why you would want to take prednisone given the lack

of

severity of your situation. I know D can be upsetting - especially when you are

traveling

and on vacation with family and wanting to have a good time, but it didn't seem

to me

you were near sick enough to take pred.

Where were you traveling? Maybe you were just reacting to different microbes in

the

water or something?

Did you try things like pepto bismal or charcoal first?

that's why i asked ,i didn't know what's severe - for me that was 8 days of D -

i get loose but not D for maybe 1 or 2 days here/there -and i NEED to function 4

kids started schol this a.m. (worst hours for my D) so i was freaking out - i

thought of pepto but thought if it's a bug you should let it out?? and my doc

had said no pepto in the past- never used charcoal - that's for D??? i'm

learning SO much thru this lil episode -lol
