Diagnosis codes for Uniparental Disomy 7 labs????

Hi again! I've been a member of this listserve for quite some time,

but rarely post. We've been told our daughter has RSS, then not, and

now " likely mild RSS " . I'm sorry to come to you for help when I have

not been active here in quite a while...

However, I am in desperate need for help regarding trying to get our

insurance company to cover the Uniparental Disomy 7 lab test. There

has been some issue with diagnosis codes not being " appropriate " and a

severe lack of assistance from the office of my daughter's Geneticist.

Anyone have any secrets or a list of diagnosis codes that worked for

you (of course I would only use the ones that do apply to my

daughter)? I am hoping that if I provide Meg's drs office with a list

of codes they will use them and maybe we can get this covered! (BTW-

we will very likely be switching geneticists).

We can not afford the $900 to pay for these lab tests!
